The Big Two Rules
A) You are not allowed to show "proof" of your status as a Spy, Citizen, or other special status in the game. This means you can NOT copy a conversation that you have with me in order to "prove" that you are a Citizen. You are not allowed to take screenshots to show that you are or aren't a Spy. Anyone who does this, real or a faked screenshot meant to deceive, will be immediately removed from the game. Remember that it is simple to fake conversations and screenshots.
Copying information given privately to you in your confessional to another player with the intent to "prove" your status as a Citizen or otherwise is strictly forbidden. It is the first rule posted in large text under the "Big Two Rules" on the rules page: spies1.proboards59.com/index.cgi?board=spiesseries&action=display&thread=1149161374
You have knowingly violated this rule by copying the text of private information I have given you with the intent to prove yours or another player's Identity in the game.
However, because I did not explicitly lay out that asking or providing exact text would constitute breaking this rule (although I feel it is obvious), you will not be removed from the game at this time. Any further rule breaking will result in your immediate expulsion from the game. There's no point in playing a Spies game if everybody can just confirm their identity to other players, whether it be a faked confirmation or not.
Proving or asking for proof of another's identity includes but is not limited to: asking for the format or form of a post I make privately to you, asking of the time stamp of a post I make privately to you, asking for sentence structure or filling in the blanks of posts I make privately to you, confirming or denying the existance of a post I make privately to you (that includes, "Did you get a post about rule breaking in your confessional?"), and copying the text or using the text or phrases with other players that I say in conversations I have privately with you in a deliberate attempt to confirm/deny their Identity.
Like I said, there's no point in running a game where everyone's identity can be immediately revealed. Because you have a special ability, you need to be extra careful. While I understand it is frustrating to not be able to prove your Identity to others, it is important to the game that players are not able to.
